The Foundation for a
Greater Greenwood County, which invests and distributes funds on
behalf of the Partnership for a Greater Greenwood County & Ecomonic Alliance, carries
out the Partnership's three workforce initiatives:

All students on grade
level by the end of grade four.

Increase the high
school graduation rate.

Increase the
availability of job candidates with certifiable skills.
A variety of programs
make strides toward the achievement of these goals. Additionally,
this foundation provides grants to special projects which have
the same focus.
Through individual, community and business involvement, the
Partnership Alliance provides leadership
and financial support for quality of life improvement, community
involvement, educational achievement and economic development.
